AP – Police said a New Hampshire woman faces several charges after she broke into a home and told the owners she was a police officer after she was discovered in the kitchen. Police said the woman, 34, said Wednesday she was chasing a burglar from the house.

DA: Pa. woman may keep corpses if she builds crypt (AP)

AP – A 91-year-old woman found living with the corpses of her husband and twin sister will be allowed to keep them if she installs a mausoleum or crypt, a prosecutor said Tuesday.

Police say pair stole nearly $2K from Pa. jail (AP)

AP – A couple were charged with stealing nearly $2,000 from a central Pennsylvania jail by using a routing number from a check the woman got from the jail after her release last year. Police said a 61-year-old man and his 51-year-old wife used the routing number to use Blair County jail account to pay their utility bills and transfer $179 to the man’s bank account.

Cops: Drunk pair push stroller with kids, bayonet (AP)

AP – Authorities said a drunken man and woman were arrested after they were found pushing a baby stroller holding two young boys, open containers of alcohol and a bayonet inside. Police said in a statement that the 30-year-old woman and 52-year-old man were arrested after police were called about 1:30 a.m. Friday when the woman tried to take a bike off a porch.

Ohio clerk flubs lottery ticket, but wins $250K (AP)

AP – An Ohio store clerk’s mistake when printing a Mega Millions lottery ticket has won her $250,000. Naomi Mauller forgot to add an extra game to a customer’s lottery ticket on Tuesday night, so she printed a new ticket and bought her $2 mistake. Both her ticket and its twin hit, raking in $250,000 for each winner.

Cops: Woman falls out window, lands on car, sleeps (AP)

AP – Police said a 30-year-old woman apparently fell out of a third-story window, landed on her parked car, and then walked into a neighbor’s house, where she fell asleep on a couch for two hours. Lakemoor Police Chief Mike Marchese said family members believe the woman woke up before dawn Thursday and fell through the screen while opening a third-floor window.

Ice cream vendor accused of threat in turf battle (AP)

AP – Police said an ice cream vendor threatened another vendor with a knife and told her to get off his turf. The man acknowledged talking with the woman Sunday in a cul-de-sac but denied making threats. Police found a knife in his truck and arrested him for investigation of assault.

Bra causes headache for lawyer visiting Miami jail (AP)

AP – An attorney claims she couldn’t visit her client at a South Florida detention center because of the undergarment she was wearing. The attorney said an underwire bra set off a metal detector at the Miami Federal Detention Center earlier this month. Guards at the facility then wouldn’t let the woman inside.
