» 28 year old Samdup Gyatso, was surrounded by seven police officers: he had a Tibetan national flag in his hand and was asking the government to provide people in need the first aid sent by the international community. It is the second arrest related to aftermath of -earthquake.

Local Roundup: Spring-Ford baseball rolls to big win over Pottstown
ROYERSFORD — Host Spring-Ford erupted for 17 runs in the first inning, added three more in the second, and went on to defeat Pottstown, 20-5, in a game limited to 2-1/2 innings due to the 15-run mercy rule.

The Illinois Emergency Management Agency is highlighting earthquake preparedness this April, the second anniversary of a 5.4 magnitude earthquake that shook the state on April 18, 2008 with an epicenter in southeastern Illinois.

Khon Kaen – A 60-year-old Irish man was found dead in a rented room in this northeastern province Monday. Police said the bloated body of Alan Byrne was found in a rented room on the second floor of Iam Inn dorm in Chum Pae district at 10 am.

By Tommy Deas Tuscaloosa News A three-run home run by Florida’s Brittany Schutte in the second game of a doubleheader revived a sinking Florida team and Aja Paculba’s two-run shot in the eighth inning was a game-winner that gave the Gators a split. Alabama won the first game 10-4 and Florida pulled out a 7-5 extra-inning decision in the nightcap.
