A massive earthquake that destroyed much of the central part of New Zealand’s second-largest city and forced the Canterbury Crusaders to spend the entire Super rugby season on the road, also caused them a loss of almost NZ$700,000 ($546,000) for the last financial year, the team told Reuters on Thursday.
