6.3 earthquake jolts Marianas region anew

An earthquake with a 6.3 magnitude occurred in the Marianas region early yesterday morning. Emergency Management Office director Jack Omar told Saipan Tribune yesterday that the earthquake was far and very deep so there was no need for EMO to issue a public bulletin.

Light Earthquake Registered in Southern Bulgaria

A light earthquake with a 2.8 magnitude on the Richter scale was registered on the territory of Bulgaria Monday morning. The European Seismological Center informs that the earthquake struck at 6:34 am. The epicenter is 7 km from Bulgaria’s southern city of Blagoevgrad.
