ContributorNetwork – COMMENTARY | I’m just now done shaking my head over the Georgia school that incorporated slave beatings in a math word problem for elementary students and now I hear this. Also from Georgia, The Huffington Post reports a group of third graders allegedly played a game of tag during recess in which students were told by teacher to be slaves or slave catchers. The school investigated the incident after several parents complained and concluded the students’ claims were unfounded.
