Bomb explosion destroys bridge in Sulu

ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanews/08 January) – Suspected Abu Sayyaf bandits yesterday destroyed a bridge in the hinterlands of Sulu with an improvised bomb. Lt. Col. Randolph Cabangbang, Western Mindanao Command (Wesmincom) spokesperson, said the bandits bombed the bridge in Barangay Pangdanon, Patikul town because they “see good infrastructure projects as high speed avenues for security forces.”
